Description

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic neurological condition in which the immune system attacks myelin within the central nervous system. Symptoms can vary considerably and may include visual disturbances, numbness, weakness, balance problems, fatigue or coordination difficulties. Diagnosis generally involves a combination of clinical assessment, MRI and other investigations when required. Treatment and follow-up are individualized according to the patient's condition and disease activity.
