Description

Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP) measure the electrical responses of the nervous system following stimulation of peripheral nerves. This test helps assess sensory pathways from the limbs through the spinal cord to the brain. SSEP may be useful in evaluating selected spinal cord, peripheral nerve and neurological conditions.
