Description

Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP) evaluate the electrical response of the brain to visual stimulation. This test helps assess the pathway between the eyes and the visual areas of the brain. VEP may be recommended when evaluating certain optic nerve or visual pathway disorders and can provide useful information when routine eye examinations do not provide a complete picture.
